Steelcraft Baby Capsule

Have recently purchased one of these and am so glad I did. It’s so simple and lightweight

I used this for my fourth daughter and loved it. I wasn’t going to bother buying another capsule for my last baby but when I bought my Strider Compact I realised I’d be silly not to get the capsule also. Everyone warned me how useless they are and you only get a few weeks use but my baby was born 10lb 2oz (4620g) and 57 1/2 cm long and grew super fast, yet still fit under the markers until she was 7/8 months old and on the high range of the 97th percentile. I would definitely recommend

So light and compatible with traveler steelcraft prams definitely very convenient highly recommend this product :)

I got this as a set with ny pram. I love it! My kids fall asleep n dnt need to be disturbed while i take the carrier out. Hooks on the pram easily. It can be rocked so the baby can fall asleep again. Compact and safe for the babies. Heads are supported well. Used it for 1 year and then changed to a normal car seat. U wont regret buying the capsule. Worth every penny spent! You dont want to disturb a sleeping baby and this is the perfect solution.

I bought this in a package deal with my pram. I was told by multiple people that i shouldn't get a capsule and it is a waste of money but i loved mine! I used it right up until my son grew out of it. It was so useful in getting him in and out of the car, especially if he was asleep. It also was good because if we went somewhere we could keep him in it and put it on the ground and rock it. It also connects to the steelcraft pram which saves so much time. It also gave me comfort in the car because it looked reliable and safe for my son. Definatelywould buy again for future children.

We bought this capsule & the steelcraft strider compact just before my daughter was born last Year. my partner and I absolutely love it! Our daughter is such a light sleeper so getting her out of the car and trying to put her in bed or a pram was impossible. My daughter got so much more sleep as I could just lift the capsule and click it onto the pram for a walk or take her into my coffee dates with friends. It is so easy to install & use. The capsule is easy to get on and off the base and has a safety lock on the pram. I would highly recommend it to any parents looking and trying to decide between a car seat or capsule.

I bought this capsule for my bub last year. She outgrew it within 3 months. It was very narrow and didn't accommodate for larger size bubs. however it was very easy to use, great to be able to take it from home to car than into the pram and back again all without having to wake bub up.

I bought this capsule & the steelcraft strider compact just before my daughter was born last May. It has been an absolute lifesaver! It is incredibly easy to install & makes quick trips into the shops easy with the pram adapters. The capsule clicks in and out of the base with ease. The only downfall being that it is on the heavier side. The capsule still (but only barely) just fits my large 99th centile10.5 month old. I'm impressed at the time frame that it has fit her for. We have never had any issues with 'head flop'. The capsule is comfy & the harness is easy to rethread to move up as Bub grows. The whole extended family found it easy to install. I would definitely recommend it to any mothers looking for ease, convenience, practicality & comfort!

We didn’t have a capsule for our first bub (trying to save money and everyone telling us they grow to quickly out of it). But It was one of our best investments for our second bub. Being able to change bub from car to pram in a few easy clicks and being able to put bub in the capsule inside rather then in the car is 1000 times easier! Loveeed this product!

This is amazing my baby loves this it's comfortable light and convenient love how it connects and disconnects with the steelcraft pram for easy traveling and the base can stay in the car easy to remove and attach a fantastic product :)

PROS This capsule is great with a newborn you don’t want to wake when you’re in and out of the car often. Can be used up to 6 months (but there is an height indicator for when to move baby onto a car seat). CONS Baby can get a bit hot because it’s very enclosed so something to consider if your baby is due in the summer months.

I love this. I wish it was around when I had my older children. So convenient if baby is asleep and you have the prams that the capsule clicks into. So convenient if baby is asleep you can get her in and out without disturbing her or waking her up. You do need a little bit more room at the shopping centre carpark for getting baby in and out but it's a reasonable trade off for the convenience and ease. If you have the pram (we have the steelcraft agile) it makes getting in and out of the car so much quicker and simpler. I five minute trip to the shop for bread and milk used to make me wonder if I REALLY needed those items enough to go through the task of getting the baby in and out of the car, but with this capsule and pram I don't give it a second thought. It's also a bit safer, I feel, because you can get baby in and out quicker you're out of the way of the other cars. I think this capsule is a life saver. And we'll and truly worth the money.

I love my Steelcraft Baby Capsule. Currently using with my second baby and it makes life so much easier. Being able to put her in her seat and not worry about disturbing her when out by having to get her in and out of the seat is great. It makes on the road naps seem less. The whole steelcraft range is fantastic, I recommend to all my new Mum friends

Ok so i have 3 children and the first 2 i never had capsules thought they where a waste cos bub only fits in them for so long. Then i had bub 3 and i decided to get this one and wow is all i can say i loved it. If bub was asleep instead of getting him out of his seat and waking i could just lift the entire thing out and when he was tiny i didn't like him in his pram because he was so small but with the adaptors i could attach the seat straight to it. Only negitives i found which i dont think could be changed is if it was abit lighter i have weak arms and with bub in it as he got bigger ( i have a very high 4wd) i would struggle to lift it in and out. Also how u attach the harness anchor down strap ( prob has a proper name and dont know it) it takes abit of fiddling. If their was a quick easy way to just clip it on that would be great. Other then that its amazing

I bought this capsule for my first newborn. I was unsure of which capsule to buy; being a first time Mum, you try to get the best and safest items for your baby and you tend to listen to everyone's opinions but a lot of the time, they contradict each other. My husband and I decided on this one because we knew the brand name and it was a solid and safe looking capsule. It was perfect for our high set four wheel drive as it clipped in and ejected really easily. It also has the ability to attach to a number Steelcraft prams/strollers which made it easier to purchase a pram. I cannot fault this capsule. It was safe, comfy, easy to use and has great accessories.

We loved this capsule, so light and easy to get in and out of the car. We had a big baby though so unfortunately he didn't last until 6 months in it (which is the average age)

This capsule is amazing. Its light bub dosnt get too hot in it. It clicks into base with ease and comes off just as easy. Clicks straight into the agile pram and is so easy to keep clean. Will be using the same for bub #2

I had a lot of mixed feedback about whether to get a capsule or go straight for a car seat, because of the fact that capsules are only suitable until around 6 months or sometimes less. I do not regret buying mine at all! It has been so convenient not having to get bub in and out of a car seat when not necessary. But easy enough to unstrap her when needed. Bub is an average size at 6 months and still has plenty of room until she hits the cut off mark. Love the fact that the capsule easily fits into the Steelcraft pram and also means baby is facing me while in this position. Does take a bit of getting used to the unlocking mechanism and attaching the safety strap but once you have it it's easy. Having a summer baby I removed the newborn insert as early as I could as does get quite hot. Can be quite heavy especially now baby is bigger but lighter than other brands I tried. Overall I would strongly recommend this product.

I brought this for my son. My first child. It fitted well in my car and easy to install. My son was very snug and always looked secure. I think the headrest part helped this. Easy to click in and use in my steelcraft compact pram. Only complaint was trying to take the capsule out of the base in the car. You really need to use your muscles to get it out

I brought this for my first son and am now using it with my second. Find it extremely handy especially as it fits straight into my pram so I can always move them in and out of the car whilst sleeping however I do find them incredibly heavy and unfortunately my boys grow out of them too quickly but I don't regret buying it. Very easy to click in and out of the car and also easy to adjust straps

We hired this capsule for our son to fit on the Steelcraft Strider Plus pram. So convenient to be able to take him to/from the car without waking him up and also very convenient to attach the capsule to the pram. The quality is excellent and it is definitely an item I recommend to people who have a Steelcraft pram!

When I had my singleton I used this capsule, it was so handy straight from the car to the pram. Now that I'm pregnant with twins and I have found out you can fit 2 capsules in the strider pram I have gone and brought another capsule. Anything to make life easier 😊

I bought this before the arrival of our second child and now wish I'd gotten it for our first! Clicks in and out of the car base and our Strider Compact pram very easily, making it convenient to move our baby around with us. I love that she doesn't need to be woken to get in or out of the car, and the capsule is so comfortable she sleeps every time we put her in it! The straps lengthen easily too, so we can gently strap her in and pull the excess tight afterwards.

We bought this capsule as I drive a 2 door VW Beetle and my advice to anyone with a 2 door car is to buy one of these capsules! It made my life that much easier just being able to click the capsule in and out the car rather than risk knocking my babies head on the car door trying to climb in and out. My son was in this capsule for close to 7 months and we will be using it again for our second child to be born in a few months.

I bought this for our second child after not using a capsule with our first and absolutely love it! The click and go option from car to pram or vice versa is so handy and couldn't be easier to use. It's lightweight and easy to clean also which in my opinion makes it a front runner compared to several other capsules out there. We bought an extra base for use in our second car so we didn't have to switch bases. Our almost 8 month old daughter is still in this capsule and will be for a while yet!

We originally didnt think we would bother with a capsule as we didnt think it would be worth the money. When i was 7 months pregnant, my dad ended up buying one for us... and thankgod he did!! It was such a lifesaver on so many occasions. The only downside we found was these capsules are quite compact and narrow compared to others on the market. My son grew very quickly and we ended up having to move him to a seat after only 4 months. Wish we got more time out of it because it was so amazing and easy!

Loved how I could click it into my pram when bub was asleep or take it in the house not having to wake her up. It was a lifesaver for us

I bought this when I bought the steelcraft strider, it is easy to put into and out of the car, it is easy to put on the pram also. Only downside is trying to wash the seat inserts - but that's what it's like with every car seat and pram.

We didnt plan on buying a capsule but ended up getting one as a bundle with the strider compact. I'm so glad we did as it has made moving bubs in and out of the car without waking him so much easier. Its also been helpful as I have a small car (hatchback) so i only need the stroller base in my car while we can still use the capsule. I did find my son was getting a bit warm but we have just removed the padding and he doesnt seem to heat up as much now. I would highly recommend the steelcraft capsule!

The simplicity of a capsule that you can click in and out of the car, and into a suited pram appealed to us when we had our first baby. I do love the capsule, and I definitely could appreciate the fact that I could get around town and in and out of the car without waking my baby up. My only problems with the capsule was that the handle caught the hood and dragged it back every single time I would push the handle back, and that my baby (who was a big boy I might add) started getting really hot and sweaty in it after 3 months or so. Other then that it made life a lot easier for us to have it regardless and I would still recommend any parents to invest in one. It was super easy to use and the easy click and go with the pram was fantastic!

We bought this capsule after it was recommended to us by one of the staff members at the baby shop. We hadn't planned on buying a capsule at first but so glad we did! It was perfect for our newborn, she was comfortable, loved being in it and fell asleep every time. We loved the fact that we could easily clip it into our pram (or carry it) without waking her if doing a quick run at the shops. (We all know how amazing it is to have a sleeping newborn) The one downfall I can say is from about 5 months she would get extrememly hot and sweaty with the velour infant head insert which if I'd have known then what I know now I'd have just taken it out. I was under the impression it needed to stay in to be safe! I highly recommend this product to anyone and I'd definitely purchase again!
