This Extension Strap is suitable for child restraints manufactured from March 1993 onwards. Some vehicles require an Extension Strap to allow a tether strap or upper anchorage strap on a child restraint to be connected to the child restraint anchorage in the vehicle; usually station wagons and sedans. Extension straps are available in 300mm and 600mm lengths to suit most vehicles and child restraints.

We were extremely thankful that this extension was made! We purchased our Britax platinum pro and the tether was too short to reach our anchor point. At jay stage we didn’t know you could purchase this extension so thought we’d need to buy a new seat. Very thankful to have his product!

Having always owned a sedan, i was suitably annoyed when i got a small 4WD and my existing baby seat wouldn't fit. Enter Britax! This handy extension strap not only did the trick, but saved us having to purchase a new seat!

We needed an extension in order to have our babies car seat rear facing. Having an SUV meant it had to be clipped further behind the seat then a normal sedan. Simple and easy to install and does the job perfectly!
