The Babylove Cosmic II™ Car Seat can be used in rear facing position until child’s shoulders reach the lower shoulder height marker (approx. 12 months of age).
Then convert to forward facing position until their shoulders reach the upper shoulder height marker (approximately 4 years).

Once this seat is outgrown, your child can move into a Convertible Booster Seat, Harnessed Car Seat or Booster Seat.

The Babylove Cosmic Convertible Car Seat is the revolutionary choice with its 2 recline positions whilst using Forward Facing/Toddler Mode and its compact size enabling 3 restraints to fit in the back seat making it perfect for smaller cars or growing families.

The Babylove Cosmic Convertible Car Seat comes complete with large side wings for superior protection and includes EPS Foam for side impact protection. It also comes complete with shoulder pads, head support and a soft baby insert making sure your baby is kept safe and comfortable at all times while in the car. The four slot harness positions allow for your growing child and the six point safety harness makes sure your baby is kept secure while on its journey.

Its machine washable cover makes cleaning easy and its exclusive clips hold the buckle apart whilst putting baby in its seat.

Surprised at how good this is

We purchased this from Kmart as a second carseat to keep in my husband's car. Admittedly we chose thing one as it was the cheapest there and we just needed it for one day. I was really surprised at the quality of the fabrics and how well it was made, I must say it was on par with my $500+ carseat of another brand. It was very easy to install and fit to my son, I tend to get really frustrated having to adjust the harnesses and straps however this was really easy to do. He's still rear facing in another of our carseats as it is too upright once he is forward facing and sleeps chin to chest, however this has a really good recline for forward facing and he is never skin to chest when asleep in this seat. We now use it really regularly and even purchased it to replace a seat in the grandparents car. As a safety note - please do read the instructions as the straps do sit a bit differently to a lot of other brands I have seen (the go over then under, not just under at the back) so definitely do read over them before using and installing.

This seat is a good seat. It's pros, it looks nice, its sturdy, does the job. The only thing I dislike about it is it doesn't have extended rear facing or extended forward facing harnessing. You have to take the seat out to retread the belt when baby grows, so if this is hard for you then don't get this seat. I used it in my parents car so it was perfect for a "parttime" seat.

The Babylove Cosmic II is easy to install in most cars. The fabric is hard wearing and easy to clean. The black and silver is stylish and my seat still looks new after 11 months of machine washing covers. This is important to me as many of the plush seats from expensive brands look disgusting after a bit of use. My baby first went in at 2 days old and nearly always falled asleep within a minute of driving. He doesn't get squashed or overheated by the additional comfort padding in expensive seats. I can't loosen the side strap so I always had to lift him over or under it which isn't great for my back and means he's always woken when I tried to get him out. If this could clip undone instead it would be a 5 star seat. Now that we're forward facing it's no longer an issue.

Did lots of research before buying this car seat! Couldn't afford to spend too of the range price but still wanted it to be safe for bubs. It's easy to install and adjust and baby looks comfy and sleeps well in it. It just fits in my corolla rear facing, but only just!
