Philips Avent Natural Feeding Bottle 125ml

Needed these bottles when one of my boys refused to latch. Found they are the perfect size for the amount of milk you pump up, although one of my early morning pumps seems to need two of these per breast. Pros- good size portable cons- hard to wash with all the moulding inside the teet hard to take off the plastic cap the nipple is not really like a breast nipple at all, despite that being advertised.

I love the avent natural bottles! I currently breastfeed and topnup with formula at the moment due to slow weight gain with my baby. We have tried a few bottles and the avent natural ones are the ones my baby is happy with! Those that breast feed know how hard it is to find a bottle that a breast fed baby will take. I also love how this bottle fits in my nappy bag with ease it's very convenient for me! Perfect for newborns. The only con I have to say is that I can't get an exact measurement when I am making a 120ml bottle. I know it's only 5mls but still I worry as it's not exact.

This bottle is great for combining breast and bottle feeding. I started using this bottle from the time my son was about 1 month old. He was fully breastfed before that, but when I started using this bottle he took the bottle straight away. He fed really well without any fuss from the first time I used this bottle and has had no issues with colic whatsoever. The breast shaped teat and anti-colic system, really works. The unique shape and light weight of this bottle makes it easy and comfortable to hold in any direction. My son could hold it by himself from the time he was about 5 months old. The only downside with this bottle is - when I first started using it, the white transparent cap over the cover holding the teat was quite tight and therefore couldn't be opened with just one hand. This was slightly annoying especially when baby is in my arms hungry and I had to put him down to be able to use both hands to open the cap. Over time however, (I'm guessing sterilising would be a contributing factor) the cap is now so loose that it falls off the cover just by tilting the bottle.

I had this bottle for my son when he was little. He got used to it really quick and without fuss, it is easy to grab and clean. Loved it
