Great bottle for my 4 month old

I tried this bottle on my 4 month old breastfed baby. She only gets bottles when she is babysat so she is not really used to them. She took to this bottle well and used the 3+ month teat, however I think it was a bit of a fast flow for her. That said, she usually guzzles her milk so perhaps it's because she is a hungry girl! It seemed to fit naturally in her mouth but she tended to chew the teat rather than suck. Compared to her other bottle she is not so great at using this Philips one, as her other one has more grip to the teat. I think the teat was nice and soft and bendy though so after about 10 minutes she started to get the hang of it. I like the size of the bottle as it is nice and wide so easy to hold. It was very easy to wash, take apart and put back together again. The bottle seems to be of really good quality as the plastic is nice and sturdy. I like that this bottle is labelled as natural and easy to combine with breastfeeding, which I found to be true; and I use to worry about my baby getting confused with teats and the breast but she took to this bottle quite well considering she's not used to bottles. It's great that this bottle can be used from 1 month onwards as there is no need to buy more bottles down the track with the interchangable teats! Also as the bottle can hold a lot of liquid the bottle can be used for a longer period of time as the baby's appetite grows with age. I have mother friends who use this bottle with formula fed babies and they absolutely love it, and I have seen their babies use it with so much ease. Perhaps with further use my baby will get more used to it. I would highly recommend this bottle for newborns!
