Philips Avent Natural Newborn Starter Set

I brought this 9 weeks ago and great value for money and great product

Choosing the right bottles I thought would of been a nightmare, I tried breastfeeding yet lasted a few days so I had asked hubby to go to the shops An buy a bottle or 2 while I was in hospital until I could buy more once I was home. He come back with advent bottles, he was told it was a well known An popular bottle to use, so picked them ones.. When I got home I ordered 2x newborn starter packs seems she took to them right away, An the colic feature seemed to work great, as u can see the bubbles going back into the bottle as Bub drank.. I found the tiny (125ml) really good as it was not as bulky looking when ur feeding bubs compared to the bigger ones, An holding bubs in ya arm the smaller bottle is easier to hold as its not as round as the larger ones especially when bubs isn't drinking a full bottle it makes sense to use a smaller bottle, I noticed the teats actually have the numbers on them (for different flows)...It took a while for my daughter to take to these kinds of dummies tho as she preferred the ones that curved to her face An these ones seemed a little to big for her mouth, an she just spat it out like there was no shape to her face for it seems they are flat to her face. She did take to them as she got older tho. The bottle brush is useful for scrubbing inside the bottles etc aswell

I did a lot of research into bottles to use for my newborn as my previous baby got "nipple confusion" with another brand of bottles. We didn't want to godown that road again. My almost two week old is fed with expressed milk in the avent natural bottles and this has t affected breastfeeding at all! Totally recommended for babes that are mix fed! The bottle brush is also great, do be careful with the rest end as I have broken a test by using it a bit too rough. The dummy it comes with my son didn't like, but was great to try as you just never know what your child will like. All in all 5/5 would recommend to anyone that breast feeds!

I got this pack as a baby shower present and was one of the best gifts I could receive. It had a bit of everything to feed my newborn and he got used to the teats pretty quick without fuss. I completely recommend it for parents that work and someone else (rather than mum) needs to feed the baby.

We had gone through a few different brands over my 3 kids and this is the ONLY one i tried that was the easiest for my children to adjust from breastfeeding to bottle as well as mix feed in the middle. I really recommend anyone who is mix feeding or transitioning to try this bottle set! EXTREMELY HANDY! Great Baby Shower gift!
