Oricom CU710 Camera Unit for Secure710

I’ve been using this monitor for over 18months and have no issues with it- it’s very easy to set up and we’ve even taken it with us when we’re out at friends houses, as there’s a battery function for the unit (meaning you don’t have to plug in the camera which is awesome.) Pros: - night mode works well - modifiable low and high temp sensors - can use unit as a walkie talkie which we’ve used to shush our LO to sleep without getting out of bed! - works well in our double storey home (doesn’t drop out and if it does it easily reconnects back) - can add on extra monitors for multiple kids (we haven’t tried this yet, but planning to use for no.2 which is awesome- means we don’t have to buy another entire unit) Cons - there’s a little red light on the camera unit- a bit annoying when you’re aiming for a pitch black room for your LO - only 2x zoom which turns a bit grainy in the dark

For me a camera was a big thing because it’s something I needed to trust to keep an eye on my child. In our two story house I was worried about range, picture and sound quality. I have not had one issue with this camera and I love all the additional features of night light, lullabies and I find it easy to position anywhere she sleeps!

Love that you can connect multiple cameras up so I can see both my kids at night. The quality of the camera is good but the range isn't great. We have a double story house and the camera drops out a lot.

It's great to be able to add a 2nd camera that is to the same quality as the original.

I have been using Oricom for a few years now and I must say we love it! At first it was one camera. We upgraded from another brand and loved the clarity of the picture in night vision. It has good range and a decent battery life. When our second bub came along, we were able to buy a second camera to add on. What a great feature! 1 parent unit to two cameras. I love that I can zoom in on a camera and now my kiddies are older, I love using the walkie talkie button when they've woken up and can come out or when I see a disagreement over toys beginning. It's especially great when I'm cooking and they wander off to their rooms. The only annoying thing now is that when flicking through the 2 cameras, one always stays black until I hit the screen on/ off button a few times. Annoying but not a major issue. I would recommend this for ease of setting up, good range and battery, a clear picture that you can zoom and the talk feature. It also has a night light and can play music. It's a great investment and one day we can add another two cameras if needed ;)
