The best nappy bag EVER! The only bag you will ever need! After not being able to find any reviews online, I took the plunge and ordered it directly from Storksak. I initially purchased it for our overseas family holiday, but it has now become my everyday nappy bag. Packing for a holiday is hard enough, packing essentials for every scenario while holidaying with kids is harder. This bag is large enough to accommodate essential for not only the kids, but for the us as well. And best of all, it looks fabulous! The first positive I could see was the multiple compartments. On one side, there is a detachable insulated bottle bag. This was especially convenient for quick trips to breakfast. They are large enough to hold 2 wide neck bottles. When attached to the bag, there are 2 pockets behind it which was great for slipping in cutlery and small snacks like food pouches and rice crackers. Having all the food on one side definitely makes it easier when feeding kids in a hurry - because we all know kids are impatient. Their is also another insulated pocket on the other side which is not detachable. I usually put her bottle of water and it keeps it warm or cold, whichever is the flavour of the day for my daughter. The back features a slip in pocket which converts to luggage holder as such. When travelling through the airport, unzip the bottom of the pocket and slip the bag over the handlebars of your luggage. It’ll save your back whilst on the move and carrying a restless toddler. On the inside, there are 2 large elastic pockets. Perfect spot for wipes when needed in a hurry to clean post dinner messes or moisturiser creams and toys. They are very easily accessible and large. There is also a large zip pocket inside the bag. I leave a couple of sterilising bags and my alcohol hand rub which are essentials when travelling to places that don’t have a reliable water source. The change mat included is decently sized and padded for comfort. It has a wipe down surface and is easily machine washable. There are 2 pockets on the inside that can fit up to 4 nappies in total and another slip pocket on the outside which is accessible when folded. I add in a handy pack of wipes to this compartment. This makes nappy change time a breeze as everything is in one change mat - essential when travelling with younger children. The exterior of the bag is also wipeable. I haven’t had any issues removing stains with a simple go-over with a baby wipe. Although very large and convenient, there unfortunately is a downfall which I doubt can be avoided. Closing and opening isn’t as convenient as a simple zip. There is a drawstring you’ll need to pull first then 2 buckles. This task isn’t easy when you only have 1 hand free. But it’s a con that I’ll overlook as the bag in general, the bag is a great investment! Thank you Storksak!
