Babymel Change Station

I was lucky enough to win the opportunity to review the Babymel Change Station in TBI Mega Giveaway a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been using it for the past week for my 2.5 year old and 1 year old. Where to start, it’s not overly feminine/masculine so hubby was more that happy to carry it and use it for our girls in the Navy Stripe design. It’s really well made with durable materials to ensure comfort for little ones, super easy to wipe clean and has large pockets so as to have everything on hand. However anymore than four nappies and wipes in it I found that it was difficult to close and keep closed with the Velcro strap (see pictures) I’m not a fan of the pocket on the back side of the change station as once open it’s inaccessible. Also if anything is left in the pocket it’s now a lump in the middle of the change mat. However with the brilliant mesh clutch that comes with the change station there is no need to use that pocket, as all your extra essentials can be kept in the mesh clutch. Although there are practicality issues it’s a stylish well made change station. I really did put it through its paces using it for two little ones on full days away from home. It’s a great sized change area for a newborn up to a three year old maybe older if needed. It’s great for quick trips out if your not needing your whole nappy bag. Your guaranteed to have a clean, convenient and well organized change station with the Babymel change station on hand.

With two children under two, being able to quickly do a nappy change when out and about is essential. The Babymel change station allows you to change nappies conveniently, comfortably and hygienically when on the go. It opens up to provide a padded mat for you to place baby to change nappies - so whether you're changing in the boot, a yucky parents room, or even at home away from your usual change area, you can use the change station. It isn't a substitute for a nappy bag but I found it holds a few nappies, bags and a very small packet of wipes, and folds up reasonably flat - maybe a bit bulky depending on what you've got in there. However, there is also a mesh pouch that can be used with the change station - good for throwing in other essentials. It also wipes clean very easily which is an added bonus I'm going to store my Babymel change station in the car for those times when we are caught out with needing to do a quick nappy change.

I purchased this from Babies R Us with a gift card I was given for my baby shower. It’s something that had I not had the gift card I may not have bought as I felt it was not on my must have list but I’m really glad I did! It’s super convenient to have. I just throw it in my pram basket for quick trips to the shop and I try to leave it in the car so I have a mat and somewhere to stash some nappies ( remembering to restock the nappies is the problem for me!!) . I bought the oyster colour and I like how I can also put it in my regular bag instead of carrying my bigger nappy bag around. I would definitely recommended popping it on the wish list.
