Baby Jogger Select Bassinet Kit

If you plan to use your City Select from birth, you need a bassinet as the seats are only rated from 6 months. The kit requires you to take the seat fabric off the frame and replace it with the bassinet fabric. It’s a little fiddley, but not too bad. It uses the canopy from the seat. Has a great mattress and looks very comfy. Downsides - it can’t be used on a stand as sleeping bassinet (some from other manufacturers can). When using the bassinet, if you are using the second seat, it can only be used in two configurations. Means the second seat can only face the bassinet so a bit boring and difficult to get them in and out.

If using the City Select from birth, and for more then two hours, you will need the bassinet kit (not recommended to leave an infant in a car seat for longer then 2 hours and seats do not recline flat on pram) Very easy to use, light weight and comfortable. Has handles that tuck away for carrying bub if desired. Sadly, not suitable to use as a bed bassinet. DOES NOT COME WITH ITS OWN FRAME. It is a cover system for the existing seat frame. Fiddley to change over. Mr 14 weeks is almost too long for bassinet now, but not ready for a seat yet (not enough head control). Hoping it will last a few months more.
