Life saver!
Reviewed on 01 December 2018
We bought this when we had to travel interstate. I didn't get to sleep bub in it before we left so we were a little nervous. However, to our relief she LOVED it. She didn't stir all night. The cot is lightweight and easy to pack, both into the car and its casing. We loved the ease of setup, pack up and portability. The sides are quite high (I'm quite short, but hubby is tall), but this was a pro for us rather than a con as it will ensure that the cot lasts a little longer as bub grows taller. We also loved that it is quite long, compared with other cots on the market, again increasing its lifespan in our home. The cot is the quality that we have come to know from Babybjorn - we do have other products from this brand. We recommend pairing with the fitted sheet and a padded sheet from Urban Baby, you will need the medium large size. If you do not wish to buy the fitted sheet a cot sheet from Target will also fit, just make sure you tuck the excess fabric under the mattress. We love this cot and look forward to using it on many more trips.

Absolutely love

Absolutely love our babybjorn travel cot easy go. Lightweight & only takes one easy step to assemble. Favourite feature would have to be the mattress, I found it a lot more thicker than other brands. The mesh material allows it to be breezy when my daughter takes a nap & a plus for mum & dad as it’s easy to see through to check on Bub. Only negative I think it’s a little over priced but could justifiable based on quality & comfort. Looking forward to getting a lot more use on our little family camping adventures

Excellent portable cot, worth every cent
Reviewed on 24 September 2018
We purchased it initially for road trips and domestic travel made a decision on BabyBjorn based on its easy set-up and reputation for quality. It has now instead become a permanent fixture in our small master bedroom as an extra cot since our little one refuses her afternoon naps in her own room. She absolutely loves it. The mattress is thick and so comfy; the frame very sturdy and well made. We also have her in here during overnight sleeps when she isn't feeling well so she can be near us. Safe to say her sleeps are great and she always wake up feeling refreshed. We even have our friends' baby napping in our travel cot when they come to visit, and even though it is an unfamiliar space, their baby fell asleep fuss-free. One word of advice when it comes to sleep - never compromise on quality. We've seen one of our friends cheapo travel cot, and we were definitely relieved to have invested in the best! It remains as one of our most valued and irreplaceable baby items we have purchased.

fantastic travel cot!!!!
Reviewed on 27 July 2018
We have travelled with this cot - it is light and quite small in size when folded up. It easily fits into the boot so I take it whenever nanna babysits and she can put it up and down as it’s very light and manageable, she can set it up by herself without needing help. A big bonus is that it is so quick to set up and take back down! Like seconds quick!!!!! I have used other quite fiddly and awkward portacots but this is just so simple. The straps on the case make it easy in airports too when you have your hands full with other bags. The only thing to keep in mind that if you have quite a tall baby/toddler you may not use it up until they are three but I’m sure even for taller toddlers you will get use out of it until they are 2.5 years! The mattress has been great too, no problems at all. I would recommend the matching sheets for this. They fit really well with good elastic to hold in place. Yes this is quite expensive, but I think it’s absolutely worth every cent if you travel or will be carting it from home to grandparents/babysitters etc as it just makes everything so much easier and stress free. However if it’s always going to be up and not be moved around much I would probably look at a cheaper option, but It’s the most perfect travel cot!!! Five stars from me!

Worth the investment
Reviewed on 14 May 2018
While a bit of an initial outlay compared to others on the market (including all of the look alikes). It has absolutely been worth it! Set up in 30 secs, light and portable this is easy enough to take to a dinner party sleep over and has been around Australia and across Europe with us and has never missed a beat. It still looks and functions as well as the day we bought it and has truly stood the test of time. Any parent of a fussy sleeper knows that you would do anything for a good nights sleep and I’m proud to say my little man slept as well in this, out and about as he did at home, so we never felt restricted (unlike most of our friends with bubs in uncomfy hard to put up portacots). With a brand new second bubba now I am so glad I didnt waste my time with a lesser version as I’m looking forward to my Bjorn getting a whole new lease of life all over again as a comfy portable bed to keep up with our lifestyle!

This really is an amazing travel cot. The design is fantastic. The fold is so easy and it's super compact, you can pop it in a suitcase and take it with you. I absolutely love it and have not seen a better travel cot. But... it really is super expensive! Unless you plan on travelling loads it's hard to justify the cost of it.

Excellent Travel Crib
Reviewed on 30 March 2018
I was looking for a travel crib not just for travel but also to be used at home. In fact mostly to be used at home. I decided to buy Baby Bjorn Travel Cot Light given the high reviews on this product. And I have made the right decision! This is by far the best product that I bought for my baby. Pros. *Thicker mattress compared with others cribs. The mattress is super comfy. * Easy to set up and take down. * Made from a great materials. The thing that I don't really like. Cons.*A bit bulky. It doesn't fit into duffle style roller luggage. So need to put it in the normal rectangle rolling suitcase. * The mattress sits on the floor, which makes it a bit hard to lay your baby down.

Amazing

Before I used this travel cot I was hesitant to purchase it as it was significantly more expensive then the other travel cost I was looking at. However, once I started to use it I realised that it was definitely worth the price. It is so lightweight and easy for travel. It fits easily in the car and the small size when in its bag makes it easy to take when flying. The mattress is comfortable and it is so easy to put up and pack away.

Super Light, Super easy to pack & assemble!
Reviewed on 27 March 2018
3 years & 2 kids later, we are still very pleased with our choice of travel cot. It's the perfect size to pack in the car for a week away & is unbelievably light for a travel cot. Best of all - it's assembles in about 1 minute, and can be packed away almost as quickly (incredible considering I was unable to even get all 4 sides of a more traditional portacot down). The only downside is the size of the cot/mattress. My kids are both very tall (>97th %) so have unfortunately found this cot a little bit small shortly after they turned 12 months old.

We’ve purchased this cot by recommendation, and we are so glad we invested in such a quality cot. It’s super easy to set up and pack up and the way it folds up allows you to put it in smaller spaces in the car (for example when our car is full for a weekend away, the cot tucks in between the front car seat & capsule) Our 2 yr old loved the cot and has only recently outgrown it (just in time for his baby brother) Recommend the sheets that go with the cot also, so soft & has a luxurious feel about it! Recommend the investment in this quality cot!

Lightweight and aesthetically appealing travel cot
Reviewed on 07 December 2017
We purchased this portable cot after our newborn son grew out of his bassinet. As our room isn’t too large, it was a perfect size to fit beside our bed opposed to other leading portable cots. It comes with a convenient carry bag for travel and it is super light weight in comparison to others we’ve used at family and friends home. This has made our day to day life a breeze S bubs is still in our room and we’re happy to know he’s comfortable and safe while he’s asleep. Thank you.

Reviewed on 23 November 2017
I tried this cot at a friends house and immediately had to go buy it myself. This is very easy to set up and down. My favourite feature is the thicker mattress, my baby sleeps well in it and looks so comfy, just like her cot at home. And it really is quiet light to carry. Its much better than any other travel cot. Would recommend, it is worth the money

Don't let the price of this put you off buying! We used this for our 7 month old to travel around Australia for 6 months. Sooooo quick to set up/pack up. Extremely breathable. Very sturdy. It made our travels such a dream! We often used it during the day as a play pen too and worked well for this too. Also packs up quite small for storage and doesn't break your back to lift it!

Love love love this Travel Cot
Reviewed on 16 September 2017
Love love love this Babybjorn Travel Cot Light. If only someone had told me prior to buying another more complicated brand to setup. We use a travel cot frequently & have discovered so many great features. My favourite is how easy it is to setup & pack up. Travel cots are known to be very hard work. I love how with this one you can literally put up without following any instructions, brilliant for those who like me who hate reading instructions. It also packs down to the same size always (due to the frame) so you will never have the issue of it not fitting in the supplied carry bag. Winning. It is also super light at just 6kg as well as being very compact so you are not lugging it around awkwardly. Double bonus. The mattress is soft & comfortable which is another thing that travel cots are not known for. My bub immediately slept better in this & for longer too, like he was in his cot at home. I love how it sits on the floor & doesn’t hover like a lot of the other travel cots, which removes that horrible draft that comes up from the bottom of the cot. There is no sound movement when bubs moves around unlike others so a peaceful night for all when sharing a room. The mesh sides make me feel more comfortable that my bub is safe sleeping in it. It is the most stylish travel cot I’ve seen on the market. Which is an added bonus. The only con I can see with this product is the price. While it is one of the more expensive travel cots on the market, I would still pay this price as it is most definitely a notch above the other brands. There are too many great features especially the ease of setup & pack up which is important long along with the comfort factor. I would recommend this product to all my friends. Pros: - Very easy to unpack/repack - Unfold & setup easily - Love how you don’t need to follow detailed & hard instructions - Small enough to carry easily, - Very light compared to other Porta cots - Comfortable base - Like how it sits on the ground, so you don’t have the draft of air come up through the bottom as you do with other porta cots that sit just above the ground - Love the colour & mesh, which makes me feel as though my bub is safe while sleeping in there - Stylish - Love how there is no sound movement when bubs moves around in the night like other brands Cons: - It’s quite pricey

The holy grail of travel cots- worthy investment!
Reviewed on 04 August 2017
I battled with a cheap portacot for almost two years before I finally found some sense and invested in this beauty. Easy to use, beautifully made, super comfortable and compact to transport. I cannot fault it. Best of all it doesn't make any noise when the little one is moving around in it- less chance of them waking themselves up or you if you're sharing a room. Travelling with babies/toddlers is a juggling act as it is, the last thing we need is to be breaking our backs to get it set up and packed down and sacrificing precious car space with bulky cots. We travel interstate often to visit family so this purchase has been a lifesaver, wish I had of discovered it earlier!

We absolutely love our Babybjorn Travel Cot Light. We knew we would be doing a lot of travelling and staying at other people's houses and it was important to us to get a comfortable, compact and lightweight travel cot. We questioned whether the extra cost of the Babybjorn Travel Cot was worth it but after taking it on countless domestic trips and also using it when we go to family members houses I can absolutely say it is worth every cent. Our daughter always sleeps well in this cot wherever we are and I always know she will be comfortable and safe. It's also so compact compared to others and really easy to assemble and pack down. Its never a problem to take on the plane as excess baggage and the compact pack down means it's not too bulky to lug at the airport along with the pram and everything else you need to travel with when travelling with a baby. You won't be disappointed if you buy this travel cot!

I bought this for our first bub and it's been a godsend. Our two year old is still in it now and still has plenty of growing room. We unfortunately bought an inferior copy of this for our second child and I'm kicking myself, I should stuck to the original. Pros: Super compact. Light weight. A great mattress. Low risk of suffocation due the the mesh sides all the way round. Washable cover that is ACTUALLY easy to remove for a change. Well made carry bag that allows you to pack a blanket or two stuffed in around the folded frame. Super quick setup/pack up. Really well made and quality product!!!! Con: Cost but definitely worth it when you can buy it on special/sale. Closing mechanism can be tricky to first figure out but easily overcome with practice.
