A simple convenient alternative to using a bassinet attachment

Sometimes we need extra boot space in our car, or we don't want to wake a sleeping baby, or our baby simply wants to be able to see (have need to be upright from having reflux) but is not yet old enough for the toddler seat (recommended for bubs 6 months on wards). That is when I have personally found these adaptors to be something I couldn't live without. I have a Britax capsule on my Bugaboo Fox (also used it on my cameleon 2) and I love using it for shopping etc. My bub is now 8 months old and I am STILL using these attachments, so as an added bonus if you have a capsule that lasts longer then average (mine can be used up to 12 months old where many go only up to 6 months) then you can use it for quite a while. I could rave on forever about this great little bugaboo invention (that still gave me options with which capsule I wanted to use vs other prams like the infasecure Arlo where you can only use their brand of capsule) but here are my PROs: - easy to attach - On the fox you can still fold it up with the adaptors on so you won't loose them in your boot - durable (I can be rough sometimes when I'm in a hurry and there is not scratches or marks on them yet at all) - much easier than putting a bassinet in your boot - quick and easy to get bub in and out of the car on shopping trips safely with a simple 'click and go' type application -fairly compact compared to the bulky frame-like ones for valco prams etc CONs: - annoying when you get them around the wrong way if you are too impatient to pay attention for the 'click' or the tiny pictures on the sides. - as my bub is getting bigger and heavier in the capsule is getting more awkward to clip the capsule into place when I try to align it with the adaptors- not enough to discourage me to use it though - had to be removed from the cameleon chassis for it to fold into my boot - still need to be mindful of the recommended 2 hour limit in total for bubs in the capsule no matter if on pram or in the car, so this is only suitable for fairly quick trips if you aren't getting bub out for a rest, stretch, feed and/or change) Over all this is a great product that I have used frequently with my little boy and as with anything that you buy for a baby, its great when the convenience and quality is there to help you achieve a greater longevity and flexibility out of the products involved.
