This Extension Strap is suitable for child restraints manufactured from March 1993 onwards. Some vehicles require an Extension Strap to allow a tether strap or upper anchorage strap on a child restraint to be connected to the child restraint anchorage in the vehicle; usually station wagons and sedans. Extension straps are available in 300mm and 600mm lengths to suit most vehicles and child restraints.

I had to buy this when we got a 4x4 as the original strap was not long enough to reach the anchor point. It is easy to attach and remove and when we move the seat into other cars, we simply leave it in ours. It removed a lot of stress of putting the seat in. One of the best purchases.

I bought this to use with our Britax Millennium car seat in our 4WD and it's perfect. Very simple to install and perfect fit. Also being a single strap it doesn't take too much vision away in my rear view mirror (the anchor point is on the roof in the very back)

We've had 2 of these for over a year now & they are great! They are quick & simple to use, and don't need constant retightening. We've used them on three different seats/boosters & never had an issue.

We bought the Britax platinum car seat and didn't realize the strap was to short to for my car so we needed the extension strap! Works great just wish we had of known when buying the seat.
