Simple and fast

I got it as a present when i had my baby. I found it very simple to use and sterilises bottles very quickly. Its needs to be cleaned every few days but cleaning its simple too. I was very happy with it and I'd recommend it too all the mums. My sister has it now and she loves it.

This product was simple to use and easy to clean and scale. It was really handy for my firstborn as he was having tummy issues and sterilizing the bottles helped.

Best steamer around

Although this steamer is at the pricey end, but pay for quality and efficiency. After allot of research I was after the most: - efficient - modern - fast - for multiple bottles and dummies The Phillips Avent 3-in-1 ticked all the above requirements. You can also steam without the compartment on-top. This is more useful as your baby is older as you don't have to sterilise as many bottles. I used both the compartments. Bottles in the bottom compartment and dummies and teats on-top. The unit has little to no noise. The water compartment is easy to fill and clean on the bottom. It takes 6 minutes to clean and I was able to fit 7 bottles that were longer but smaller in the unit. It's easy to wipe clean, the top basket with a paper-towel. What I like mostly is that the design of the unit is clean and minimalist. Works well in a modern kitchen. I used this unit for two children. What was great that it's an easy press button to get this going and if you leave the lid closed it's sterile for 24hrs! ** TIP** Regularly wipe the metal water unit on the bottom so it doesn't get calcium. I used a paper towel.

When returning to work I needed a product that was safe, quick and easy to sterilize all the baby bottles and medela breast pump accessories. This was easy to use and neither my husband or myself ever had problems...unlike other inferior products.

Easy to use and efficient

I brought this as we were going to be bottle feeding our little one from day one. This steriliser is so easy to use and quick. Exactly what you need when trying to fit sterilising the daily jobs when looking after a newborn. It fits 6 bottles at a time which is great as it means only one or two loads to get all the bottles done.

I used this for my second baby and absolutely loved it in comparison to another electric sterilizer I used for my first! Super easy to use and quick cycles, I loved how easy it was to clean and the two separate sections. By far the slimmest electric sterilizer I found and for a reasonable price for a well know brand:

This steriliser was easy to use and fast. When arriving home from hospital feeling overwhelmed, having a product like this made it all the easier to feed bubs. Hubby could use it too so would give bub a bottle every night when I was asleep. The bottles were always ready and waiting, taking the stress out of frantically searching for a clean bottle. Highly recommend.

For all those time poor mums (which I assume is all of us) this is a must have. Whether your bottle feeding, or pumping, this steriliser only takes 8 minutes to sterilise and you can have comfort in knowing all your baby feeding equipment is clean and ready to go. It is also slimline and doesn’t take up a whole lot of room on your bench. The only downfall is the cleaning of the metal plate due to buildup of lime scale. But that is easily fixed with a dash of vinegar and some water. Highly recommend

I was given our steriliser by my mother in-law as a baby shower gift! The avent steriliser I amazing, it can hold all of our son’s bottles, we just clean the bottles and pop them in the steriliser, add the 100mls of water and push the button within 10mins our bottles are sterilised! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, it’s quick, easy and stress free!

I brought this when breastfeeding didn't work out for me. It's super handy and quick to use. (Done in a few minutes) I've had it now for a fair few couple of years and still works prefectly. (Gone through two babies now) Only complaint. It's very hard to keep clean and the water part goes yuck.

I bought this 2 years ago with my first child and it is still going strong with my second. It is extremely easy to use. Just put your bottles, dummies, nipple guards etc in, add the water and switch on. I found it best to be close by once it had finished as that allowed me to take out the products after the steam had subsided to put onto a drying rack - I accidently left it in a couple of times and it took me a while to hand dry everything, whereas if it is taken out straight away it air dries super fast!

I am a big believer in sterilising and this product works well however the element always ends up dry after use when water is filled to max water line. Calcium build up on element is a problem so I use vinegar after each use and element comes up looking like new. I am happy with this product and prefer it over sterilisation tablets that tend to leave a greasy feeling on plastic.

I had an older Avent sterilizer that I used for my first son. I used it for about 1 year and gave it to my sister and still doing well. It was so good, I thought this one would be as well. I was wrong. I use only distilled water but the heating element in the bottom is rusted after only a couple of weeks of usage. It smells and is spraying a brown rust like residue all over the bottles. The good things it steams very hot, so it has to be killing a lot of bacteria. Fast! Fits 9 4oz Madela bottles.

Good sterilizer easy to use

I bought this sterilizer for my 2nd baby. Previously, for my first baby, I had the microwaveable one. This one is easier because you just need to put the bottles in and then press the button and wait til it turns off and it's ready. Easy peasy! However, it will not stay as like the ones in the picture where the top 1/3 is clear and you is see through. I thought it will but it actually turn out to be white opaque and definitely not see through.

My favourite steriliser

We have been bottle feeding from birth and sterilise bottles and bits every single day, this one is holding up well to the challenge! This style is a huge improvement on the old round style, and I much prefer it to a microwave steamer, it sits neatly out of the way on the kitchen bench. It's a practical style that's easy to use, just wash and rinse bottles/pumps etc and pop them with a little water and press go, it turns off when it's done. The avent bottles fit perfectly - although there is a special way to stack them that took me a couple of days to remember! It does need regular cleaning too, a quick run empty with some vinegar keeps it looking A+, nothing too tricky - highly recommend!

Great steriliser

We used this for a year and a half before we passed it on to another family and it never missed a beat. It was so quick and easy to use. It fit plenty in it as well which is a great feature because no parent wants to spend a lot of time sterilising bottles when they have a new baby. It does get some build up where you put the water but we found adding a small amount of lemon juice to the water and steaming it empty cleaned it up perfectly. If we have another baby I will definitely repurchase this to use again.

While i enjoyed that i could sterilise everything in the one go, by the time i washed and placed them all in, waited the 6 minutes for it to steam and further two minutes to cool, i feel as though i could have just cleaned them and been done with it. I tend to sterilise bottles ect while they're newborns but once they get a bit older sterilising is relatively unnecessary. I believe this product would be good for those who sterilise long term but those who only sterilise for a short time it's really not worth the cost. The water bowl at the bottom also goes rusty REALLY QUICKLY, i even went out of my way to make this product last longer because i spent so much on it but even with all my effort it still went rusty.
