Number one go to bottle
Reviewed on 29 November 2018
Between these are the TT bottles, these are my preference mainly due to the insulation and transferrance of heat through the bottle. These appear to be thicker and dont 'burn' your hands after pouring boiling water into the. I also found that when shaking the bottle, these appeared to create less gas, which was seen in the lids popping off on other bottle types. The nipple is unique in design and was taken perfectly by mt tongue tied babe. Would higly recommend this brand to anyone!!!

Great size, not our favourite
Reviewed on 08 November 2017
We love avent bottles and this one is a great size but bub just does not do well with the natural teat. We much prefer the classic one as it is much easier to use. The bottle itself though is an awesome size for bub to hold themself.

Surprisingly superb

I didn't expect that my 6 month old who was on exclusive breastfeeding will take this bottle instantly. She sucked on the bottle like breasts like she is already familiar and had no issues at all. The design is very practical for babies who were on breastfeeding previously.

Ergonomic hold is great
Reviewed on 26 October 2017
My little one has been using these bottles since he was four weeks old. He has been happy using them and has never had a problem. I really like the ergonomic grip. I haven't seen these in other bottles and it is one of the stand out features for me. I find them comfortable and easy to hold. I would recommend these bottles.

The cheaper competitor

I almost wish I had found/used/been gifted these bottles earlier in Mum feeding journey given how happy I was to use them after using Tommee tippee and medela bottles. I won’t lie, I bought tommee tippee because the 6 packs were reasonably priced, they seemed much of a muchness and most my friends were using that brand. I never knew if I would need a bottle but I felt even if you’re exclusively BFing, they might come in handy (cue BF issues and needing to express and top up). This bottle feels like the plastic is more durable. I say this, as when boiling hot water is placed inside of it, the bottle holds it shape, retains most of that heat (protecting hands) and doesn’t have too much gas expansion with a lid on (heat and shaking causing that gas exchange). A few times I have needed a tea towel for my TT bottles when heating and almost every time after a shake, the bottle expands and the lid pops off. I haven’t had this issue with the avent bottle. (Probably it’s most handy feature) I was lucky that I could fit the avent bottle in my TT electric sterilister too (unsure if this can be done the other way around?!) My first thought on the appearance was that the teat/nipple replicated closely tonthe medela calma teat (which my LO sometimes is not keen on). The design of this was well accepted by my LO who herself had no complaint she or fuss over this new teat. Being a longer and slimmer bottle, my LO started to show interest in attempting to hold this herself. I believe a good combination of design, heat insulation/protection and her inquisitive age helped make this possible. I will be he first to admit that you are now preaching to the converted.

My Baby refuses the bottle
Reviewed on 24 October 2017
My baby has just turned 6months. He has been breastfed since birth. This bottle is just not for him. He will not take the breast milk from the bottle. Personally don't think there is anything wrong with the bottle, as he has took the same bottle once or twice when he was 3months old. Not sure why he won't take this bottle anymore.

Good bottle not for my baby
Reviewed on 23 October 2017
I was lucky enough to win this product to review, as a bottle, functionally I can not fault it, it draws air in nicely so the teat doesn't buckle and my baby didn't get windy using it, however as a predominantly breastfed 5months old baby she didn't like drinking from the bottle... I have no idea why but it was a fight to get her to drink from it, the bottle itself was perfectly fine from my point of view just not hers.

Best bottles after breastfeeding
Reviewed on 13 August 2017
I used this bottle right from when my son was born giving him one bottle feed a day as well as breastfeeding and never had an issue with him latching on or transitioning to the bottle. The teet is very similar to a nipple and easy for bub to suck

Great product, excellent quality

We used these from birth, my son had no problem using them and wasn't too windy after a feed either. They pull apart into 4 pieces and are really easy to clean, we've steralised them in boiling pots, steam sterilisers and steraile water, they've come up nicely every time. They're quite strong too, these bottles have been taken on all sorts of day trips, knocked around and barely a sign of use. I love them and recommend to anyone looking for bottles for their babies!

Great product but minor issue with cap
Reviewed on 16 July 2017
I bought this bottle before my son was born and started using it from the time my son was 1 month old. He was fully breastfed before that but had no issues taking to the bottle. He fed really well without any fuss from the first time I used it and had no issues with colic whatsoever. To begin with the white transparent cap over the cover holding the teat was quite tight and therefore couldn't be opened with just one hand. This was abit annoying especially when baby is in my arms and I got to put him down to be able to use both hands to open the cover. Over time however, from about 6 months of use (I'm guessing sterilising would be a contributing factor) the cap is now so loose that it falls off the bottle just by tilting it.
