Philips Avent Grown Up Cup 260ml

It's a great cup for toddler to transit from using a sippy cup to a grown up cup. It's easy to grasp on. My niece love being able to hold it herself and have control of it all on her own without any adult's help. With the spill proof, yes it is spill proof. However it doesn't take long for a toddler to figure out that all she needs to do is just push the top, then the water will come out. Overall it's a good cup, but you do need to keep an eye open, once your toddler figures out how to let the water flows out.

My niece was born with a cleft lip and palate and I was looking for a product to help her transition to a sippy cup. There are so many choices out there and going through them all is so overwhelming. A lot of sippy cups we tried simply did not work because she was unable to create suction in her mouth and most sippy cups that are spill-proof require a lot of suction. We found this after her lip and palate surgeries but it would have been great for both before AND after her surgery as there is no suction needed to drink out of it. The cup allows drinking from around the whole cup so I felt it really boosted her confidence because drinking was easy. It's technically conidered to be spill-proof but she quickly figured out that she could just push on the top and tip the cup upside down to make a mess! Also if she dropped it and something pushed down on the top, it would leak. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with a cleft baby. I hope this review saves another parent with a cleft baby from trying numerous sippy cups that aren't suitable.

I got this cup for my son to transition him from a sippy cup to a normal cup. It's great for that purpose and doesn't spill when tipped over. However if it's tipped over and something pushes on the top it will then leak/spill out. We used a range of these cups and this was the easiest to clean and it only took a couple of months for him to transition to a regular cup.

We bought this for our little girl and yes it is spill proof most of the time but there is always a little water still in the lip after drinking which does spill and once my daughter worked out how the water came out we had some issue with her pushing on the center so she could let the water pour free. So yes it is a good cup but it can still be a bit messy once the child works out how to get the water out.
