Childcare Pod Timber High Chair

When I was looking for a high chair for our bub it needed to be affordable, go with the design of our new home which is modern, white and light wood and also must be practical! This high chair was exactly what we were looking for! It was so easy to but together, it's incredibly easy to clean down and looks so stylish. We love it! I have already recommended it to a few of my friends!

I purchased this high chair recently for my 6 month old daughter who had just started solids. I was in the market for a good, sturdy chair that also fit into the style of my home. Aesthetics: For all the mothers who’s homes inadvertently became a childcare centre, filled with toys and all things baby, this product is for you! It has timber legs for a classic, yet stylish look. At a glance, one would not notice that it was actually a baby’s chair as it fits right in with the rest of the kitchen furniture (See pictures attached). My home has a Scandinavian theme so this high chair was perfect! I absolutely love the look of it. At this price point, the aesthetics of the chair is great! There are other high chairs in the market that also have a stylish design but with a price tag of about $300. Functionality: For all intents and purposes, this high chair does what it sets out to do. It seats baby safely while baby eats. The table slides out so you can put baby in easily, however putting the table in and out is fidgety. You can often ‘miss’ the slide in area, which means the table is not attached properly. It took me a couple of goes to get it right. There is also a removable tray which is also very hard to remove and put back. It doesn’t really serve any function and gets food caught in between (see photos attached). I would prefer if the removable tray was not there at all. The 5 point harness secures baby safely, however with a younger baby, it is difficult to put baby in the seat by yourself. The buckle of the harness is also made of plastic that is not of great quality (see picture attached). Comfort: The seat itself is made of foam padding which feels very comfortable for baby. It is lined with easy to clean leather. I have had no trouble easily wiping off any wet or dry mess. Set up: The chair was vey easy to set up. It was done within 20 minutes. Price: The price of this chair is great for a beautiful, stylish chair. I feel that the price is fair for the quality of the product. Pros: Beautiful design, comfortable foam padding for baby, sturdy, easy to clean, easy to set up, good price. Cons: Table is hard to pull in and out, tray is also hard to remove and re-attach, buckles made of cheap plastic, hard to put baby in by yourself.
