b.box Silicone Fresh Food Feeder

This is a product I was given as a gift at my baby shower and threw into the back of the cupboard thinking I wouldn't use it. However, mid summer when it was exceptionally hot and I had a very cranky baby I thought I would pull this out of the cupboard and put some ice cubes in it. My son absolutely LOVED sucking on it and it was the start of some great relief. I was freezing pureed fruits and vegetables into little ice cubes and would pull them out on the hot days. When he's been teething or had a fever it has been a lifesaver to get some fluids into him and have some pain relief on his gums. Something I do when he's unwell is get the Hydralyte icypoles and once frozen and chop them up and put them into the food feeder. It's a really good alternative to sucking on the actual icypole. As a side note, just hand wash these (as with most baby products) as the dishwasher can't get into the small holes of the pouch and doesn't do a great job.

I am so happy that I purchased this for my 6 month old boy. It’s great for foods that are slippery foods like watermelon and banana. Usually when I would give them to him they skip straight out of his hand but not with the bbox Greg good feeder. The handle is perfect for him to grip into. Best product.

Awesome product for starting off first solids. We loved putting frozen watermelon in there On hot days. Easy to clean and can be used for a wide range of foods. The lid means that Bub can use in the pram and then when she gets bored I just pop the lid on and she can come back to it a little later when she is ready. only downside is that it does drip a lot so can get quite messy but isn't that always the case with a little one??

I bought this two weeks ago as my baby started solids and I hate the thought of a baby choking! So this product is amazing for that because you can pop in any kind of fruit and know your baby is safe! My daughter loved it so much she even used the handle as a teether so it makes for a teether too lol! Their little hands can grip on it well and chew the handle. The only issue is the mesh can get quite manky I had mango in it yesterday and it just stains easily how ever you get two extra mesh replacements with the pack! Worth every cent ! Xx

I love the idea of mesh feeders and am so impressed that such a thing exists. We got ours from a discount chemist for $5 and one of the draw cards was that a pack comes with two spare mesh inserts compared to another brand that only comes with one. Our little one is pretty picky with what she has in it but that’s because she’s picky in general. It’s easy to clean and I like that it comes with a lid which helps with portability. So good for teething gums, little one likes the texture. This one is a hit for my mums group friends and I

I LOVE this product. I was terrified as a first time mum of my son choking and me not being able to help him. Having this feeder put my mind at ease and allowed him to be able to try new foods sooner than I was ready to cope with. I put everything from fruit, veggies to even a small piece of meat 😂😂 in it. And now I'm using it for my second baby too. Easy to clean, can even put in the dish washer. And the nets can be bought separate if you need extra. A def must have !!

Have bought these for my nieces and nephew they love using these to try new fruits,perfect size for little ones. I have even suggested them to the childcare centre I work at and they have now purchased them for the babies at the centre :).

Think of the horror when at 7 weeks your baby cuts their first tooth! This was our reality, however this mesh feeder was amazing!!! When he turned 3 months we discovered this and we used it to put frozen breast milk in to help our bubs with the teething. Only issue was we found the netting a little flimsy and he struggled in the early stages to get it in his mouth. Later on we put frozen fruit in it for a treat on a hot day. It was easy to pull apart and clean! Very fuss free and perfect for a busy mum.

I bough this product so my little one could try different fruits without me having to worry about her choking. The Big handle is great for little hands to hold making trying new things easier. Also great to put frozen fruits inside to help with teething!

I bought this for my best friend who has a teething baby and she loves it. The product comes in many different colours and looks funky. We both agree it's great the product doesn't have rough parts so it is easy to hold. It is easily washed by hand and the bright colour makes it attractive to kids. It's easy to use and versatile - can be thrown in the freezer or used just to introduce the texture of foods while allowing you to feel secure knowing your baby won't have big chunks to choke on. Only suggestion would be to make the mesh in a darker colour as it gets stained.

I was given this and I love the concept but as others have mentioned it really needs to be hand washed. It's a great shape for little hands and the travel cap that comes with it is an added bonus. I also love that you can buy replacement mesh inserts as they need to be replaced fairly regularly if banana is used in them.

The product got a few giggles from friends when I opened it up at my baby shower as we'd never seen anything like it. I tried it when my daughter was 6 or 7 months old but to be honest it wasn't used very much as I tended to just give the fruit or biscuit straight up rather than in the mesh. I chucked it in the dishwasher after putting banana in it and it didn't wash at all, so you would probably have to clean them yourself.

My son loved frozen fruit in his mesh feeder when he was teething. It was also great to allow him to try new fruits safely.

I must have about 10 of these. It was perfect when my daughter was learning to eat fruit as I was so worried she would swallow and choke on. She learnt to hold the handle and feed herself. When she started teething I would put water and fruit inside and freeze them. Prefer the silicone feeders over the mesh but the cap or lid feature of the b.box made it easy to throw into my bag and go.
