Peace of mind

Went to my local shops and stocked up on these when it was time for my toddler to switch from a cot to a toddler bed. They installed really easily and it was simple to connect to the ikea furniture we have in her room. Pulling the straps taut was a little more challenging, simply because we placed them so they couldn’t be seen easily, but managed with a ladder for the cupboard. Tried to tip the cupboard and chest of draws and they barely budged = huge success! I’m now very confident that she could climb all over them and the worse case is that she falls off. Makes me feel a lot better as she does have some unsupervised access now she can get out of bed. The straps were economical, but they also look decent compared to others we saw. I know you can’t put a price on safety, but it’s great that Dreambaby makes a product that helps with safety at such an achievable price point. The construction looks sturdy and I imagine this will last as long as we need. It’s been a few months and I’ve checked the straps in case they needed to be tightened and there was no need. I also retested the furniture and I’m pleased to say it’s still safe! When we are past this stage, it will only require a very small repair job to the walls - we’ve had much bigger jobs on mounted TVs etc. I’d strongly recommend these to anyone who has small children and heavy furniture.
