Dreambaby F704 Mini and Multi-Purpose Latches

I bought a pack after my babe started crawling and then all of a sudden was into everything. Our place was not designed to be able to block off the kitchen, so the next best step was locking all the cupboards and draws. We had one out of the bunch which didnt secure properly, which means when attempting to reattach, we have placed it too close and the cupboard can opena bit more than the rest. As these are quite hard to get off, we normally leave them unlocked and only lock them when the babe is in the kicken and looking for trouble (or if unattended and left to roam). While I am unsure if there are better prducts to keep the cupboards closed, these do the job just fine.

We bought these to baby proof our kitchen and bathroom after our little man started walking and I'm glad we did. They're a really good option when you don't want to screw holes in all your cupboards and they're super easy to install. It's also handy that they can bend around corners. Majority of ours have lasted over a year so far which has been a godsend as our toddler is into everything! We have had 2 or 3 break but we have bought a smaller pack to replace those.

I bought this product to help baby proof my home. I used them on my kitchen cupboards and drawers as they are handy in that they are able to bend around corners. However, after some use the plastic circles split as you are meant to take the straps off the disc carefully and in our home we sort of just pulled them off, so not following the exact careful instructions for their proper removal. I bought a second pack so I could replace the plastic straps but again found that in everyday use they didn't last long and that the care needed to ensure they did not split was not very practical, especially if you are holding a bub in one hand and trying to get into a cupboard or drawer. I wouldn't recommend this product as the best solution for baby proofing your home. I still, however, have them on my filing cabinet to stop my children getting in and opening them as they are not used very often and have lasted.
