Chicco Miinimo Stroller

My wife got this stroller not long ago. It is a compact in size and only weight about 6.5 kg. We thought this stroller would be perfect for our travel companion since we have 6 months old bub. In our opinion this stroller is great for mums who like to go to a shopping centre or anywhere that has smooth path. It is definitely not so great in all terrain. We travelled to Europe and visited so many old heritage where most of sites are full wirh gravels and paved. Our bub was not able to sleep comfortably. The hood is extendable but I reckon the extension should be made a little longer. The hardness are easy to be adjusted and comes with padded straps. The stroller does not have a good shock absorbers and the wheels are made from hard rubber made it hard to manuver. It comes with rain cover but it covers partially. My daughter’s feet kept poking out of the cover. It is very easy to fold and has travel bag which is a plus. This stroller has foot break and we both were so often accidentally kick it off when walking. When folding need to ensure that the front wheels are locked straight otherwise wont fit into the travel bag. I personally would recommend this stroller for short travel to areas where smooth paths available and bring your own rain cover.

I was chosen to review this travel stroller. As we are going to travel to Europe very soon thus it is important for us to plan our luggage. This pram is amazingly light, approximately 7 kg with a such compact dimensional. Comes with a travel bag and a rain cover. I personally love the color of the fabric. It’s neutral color yet not easy to get dirty type of color. The fabric is easy to be cleaned and is washable. When it came to us, there was a strong smell from the fabric. We washed it and it got a rid of the smell. Apart from the light weight and compact size, this pram has other feature that would help me while travelling such as the shoulder strap to carry it easily, one step easy folding system and a shopping bag. The shopping bag is quite small compared to my current pram but understood that it is for travelling thus its designed with practical size. The front wheels both are swivel type kind wheels. Made this pram easy to manuver. The hood can be extended although the extension is not that wide. I personally think that feature could be more useful if made wider (can reach the end of the seat) with mesh material and uv resistance. Also a good idea to build a ‘sneakpeak’ window on the hood so parents can check out their child anytime without changing position.The handle seems made from leather but the one i have does not look that tidy. On the handle there is a button to make folding is just a click. This pram has foot break which a bit different to the one I have (hand break). Chicco Miinimo stroller is made for newborn up to 18kg (as it says in the packaging). The seat can be adjusted in four different angle to cater the child’ s age and need. Foot rest is also adjustable which i love. Perhaps adding a built in foot cover will be plus. Overall, I think this pram is a good one to have for travelling and when you are on the go. Now I always keeping this pram on my car (small car) while the bigger pram can stay at home. I see more space on the boot. Really recommend this one if you are an active parent. Rrp is $450 is a fair price for all the features.
