Dreambaby Ezy-Check® Swivel Appliance Latch

I got this cos my 12 month old started pulling on the oven door trying to open it. We have had it for the past 6 months and it has been fantastic, I always worried he would pull it open and fall back and hit his head so this has really given me peace of mind. It's also really easy to use.

Just recently my son has decided to help us out with cooking which also involves him opening the oven door mid cook. I literally have had to stand and man the oven to ensure he doesn’t open it and burn himself. My husband popped into Bunnings and found this AWESOME device. It is so easy to install and is very easy for adults to use (and confusing enough for little ones to not work out). All it takes it that extra amount of pressure and a lift to click it around however for kids they just won’t figure that part out. It’s stopped my son opening the oven door and I can now continue on with life once everything is in the oven safely cooking. My son has even given up trying now!!!!

This swivel latch has been a complete saver in the kitchen. My appliances eg: oven are very low, and this provides a lock over the front door so that no child can pull a hot door open. It provides a safe and useful child locking system. It also provides piece of mind that if an appliance is turned on by a child without parental knowledge, the latch will protect the child from the appliance should they attempt to open the door. Greatest lifesaver.
