The new version of Baby Carrier One is softer, more flexible and has several new features.

Features Include:

4 front and back carrying positions: Choose whether you want to carry your child facing in (two height positions), facing out or on your back.
Ergonomic leg position: Wide, fully adjustable seat width ensures a comfortable and ergonomically correct position for your child’s hips.
Padded shoulder straps for superior carrying comfort: Luxuriously thick padding in the shoulder straps gives you superior carrying comfort.
Pressure relief for back and shoulders: The wide, sturdy waist belt gives you excellent pressure relief and good carrying ergonomics.
Inbuilt infant insert: Baby Carrier One has two height positions. You use the upper height position from newborn (at least 3.5 kg) so your baby is carried in the correct position, close to your face. Your baby should be close enough for you to kiss the top of their head.
Adjustable head support: The head support protects your baby and provides the right support until they have sufficiently strong neck muscles to hold their head up. You can also keep the head support unfolded when your baby is older and is resting or sleeping in the baby carrier. You can easily fold it up or down and adjust the firmness of the support it provides.
Carry your toddler on your back: As your child grows heavier, it will be more comfortable for you to carry them in the baby carrier on your back. We recommend that you only start to carry your child on your back after they turn 12 months old, as you will not have the same degree of supervision.
Easy and safe back carrying: With your child in the baby carrier facing inwards, you can easily swivel the whole baby carrier from your front to your back. It’s comfortable and you can do it unaided. The design of the baby carrier means your child sits safely and securely while you move them onto your back.
Hip-friendly baby carrier: The International Hip Dysplasia Institute has tested Baby Carrier One and acknowledges it to be “hip-healthy”. This means that the baby carrier provides the correct support to your child’s hips and encourages good hip joint development, which is especially important in your child’s first months.
Child-friendly materials: All our baby carriers are free from harmful substances and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class I for baby products.

All fabrics are kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste. Free from health-hazardous substances and certified according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, Class I for baby products. That’s important to us!

COTTON MIX
Main fabric: 60% cotton, 40% polyester. Lining: 100% cotton. Waist belt lining: 100% polyester. Padding: 100% polyester (body), 90% polyester and 10% PU Foam (straps)

PRODUCT CARE
Machine wash, 40°C. Wash separately with a gentle, bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron.

SAFETY
The Baby Carrier One meets the safety standard EN13209-2:2015 and the US safety standard ASTM F2236 and CPSIA 2008, Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008.

Definitely a must have!!!

I knew I would be traveling a lot with bub from Melbourne to Sydney as my family lives in Sydney and I live in Melbourne. So I put this carrier on my wishlist and I was so excited to use it. My first trip was when my little boy was 6 weeks old. The babybjorn has been a life saver at the airport. It is so easy to put on and take off and very comfortable to wear. I was worried that I may get a sore back but the support around the waist is great! I now use it front facing and bub loves looking at everyone and is very comfortable sitting in it. The babybjorn is definitely a must have item on your wishlist and I highly recommend it!!!

I was super lucky to win this carrier and I have to say I am really impressed. Our bub is a few weeks away yet, but in comparison to the carrier I had with our first baby, these are the pros so far - * the fabric is light and quality fabric. *The back support is way better than my last carrier and better than the others i tried at the baby shop recently. This is so important because I used to travel a lot with our first bub and my shoulders and back would be killing me in just minutes of wearing. This is certainly made better. * I love that it has an in built infant insert. So many other brands you have to buy as an extra. * my husband has tried it too so far and said it feels better for him too. We cant wait to put bub in and try it out. I will update soon! All in all so far I think it will be worth the value.

A great investment carrier!

I was lucky enough to win this product to review and I'm so thankful - I genuinely love it! I have a newborn and a toddler, and my toddler is too heavy for the carrier, but it's a lifesaver to pop my newborn in. He loves it and it calms him so quickly when crying, and he easily falls asleep in it so I can keep getting things done and get out with my toddler. These for me are the pros and cons I've found a week in using it everyday... PROS - so easy to use and can put on without help - the think waist band takes a lot of pressure off my back making it more comfortable than fabric wrap carriers I've used - machine washable! With two kids under two this is a must have feature for me - I need things that can easily be chucked in the machine rather than needing hand washing - love that I'll be able to use the one carrier from birth until 15kgs, and that can use in the different positions as baby grows - baby feels safe and secure - I don't fear him falling out/carrier coming undone accidentally etc. plus baby seems really comfortable CONS: - price point - it's much more expensive than wrap carriers or slings for example, though I would expect this for the quality, extra features and ability to use for years on the same child - does take a while to get it off when baby desperate for a feed, and doesn't seem like would be easy to breastfeed in (with a bigger baby able to hold up head - wouldn't be safe in any carrier with a newborn) - would like a flap at the top to provide shelter from weather, particularly the sun, so don't have to also put hat on in carrier (which can obstruct view of baby's nose to see airway clear). Not an essential feature but would be incredibly helpful!

I have back issues (probably from years of carrying around babies) but I felt this carrier was super supportive of my back. And as soon as bub was strapped in close to mum he was asleep in minutes. Sturdy comfortable carrier

We love our babybjorn carrier. We have travelled overseas many times with our little one and it has been particularly handy in airports and walking streets that weren’t pram friendly. He was always happy and comfortable in it and it was easy for us to wear too as his weight was distributed evenly.

Our little guy had severe reflux and dairy intolerances as a newborn. This carrier was a lifesaver for us as it can be used from newborn (and our son was already over the weight restriction) so we literally started using as soon as home from hospital. We also had a wrap carrier but that was like complex origami to me, which is the last thing I wanted to work out when our brand new tiny human was already screaming. The engineer in me loved the straighforward nature to the ONE carrier - a few easy clips and you're good to go! Our boy always fell asleep, and often wouldn't sleep anywhere else in the day for the first few weeks of life. We've long outgrown that stage, but at 11 months we still use regularly facing out & enjoying many father-son adventures. Would recommend for its ease of use, apparent comfort for bubs and being able to use for such a long time.

I bought the Babybjorn one carrier after carefully reading too many reviews on multiple brands- listing to a lot of advise from store employees and all the while not understanding why the features were important. You see I'm a first time mum and I'm pretty young. Safety and comfort for my baby girl was obviously the top of the list but I also care about how the carrier looks! I consider myself a stylish person and I wanted something that also looked stylish. The Babybjorn one really ticks all the boxes. I bought the all black and I love it. I can get my baby into it by myself when I'm out and about but don't want the hassle of the pram. I feel and know my baby is secure. We both look cute wearing it (and in it) I know there's so much choice out there but this has worked so well for me. Good luck!! Xx

Great carrier!

This is a great and sturdy carrier, which I really like using. We used it from 6 days old, and it was the only way our reflux baby would sleep. I bought it as I loved it didn't need an extra infant insert, and that it was advertised as hip healthy. However I actually found for a newborn (or at least ours) it really didn't support his hips well enough, as they dangled a little rather than being supported all the way to the knee. For this reason I bought another carrier second hand for the rest of the newborn phase. Now that he isnt a newborn, I really like it again. Find the hip positioning much better, and my son is really comfortable both facing in and out.

Absolutely love the BabyBjorn Carrier One. We keep it in the car for use whenever we are out. We didnt get a pram so the Babybjorn was perfect for getting out and about with the little one. Baby loves it too as she gets to see everything facing forward.

I won this Babybjorn carrier from The Baby Industry. I actually have an ergo 360 cool mesh carrier and was on the hunt for a newborn carrier, which the Babybjorn has the feature included. My husband actually tested out the carrier as I am 49 weeks pregnant atm, he loved the wider shoulder straps and waist strap as it is quite more supportive for his back compared to the ergo. The only downside he said was the black buckets are a bit hard to handle and that it might be a bit hot for baby as we live in QLD. Besides that my 18months old fell asleep in it after 5mins.

I purchased this the Babybjorn at The Baby Show after hearing rave reviews from my friends. I love the breathable fabric of the carrier and that it is very easy to put on (there are you tube clips with step by step instructions to make it even easier). Love the fact that this is one of very few carriers that can support baby hips to prevent hip dysplasia - highly, highly recommend!

I borrowed this baby carrier from my sister when my newborn arrived. Having a very energetic toddler who has outgrown his stroller days made leaving the house crazier than normal when new Bub arrived. The carrier was comfy, supportive and most importantly easy to put on by myself! My only advice is always get yourself and baby comfy in the carrier before You release the toddler ( mine likes to run 😂) Now just saving my penny's to buy my own- I do have a cheaper brand carrier but i can definitely tell the difference in the time i burrowed this one! 🙏

I bought my babybjorn carrier one cotton mix as one of my first ever baby purchases! My sister had lent me hers in the early days of my first time becoming a Mum and as soon as I tried it I knew I had to have one for myself. I absolutely love my carrier. It is one of my top 5 must have items as a Mum. I always have it in my car and use it several times a week as my 7 month old son just loves it. It is so easy to wear, adjust and comfortable that I would always recommend to any of my friends who are expecting a baby. I wouldn't go anywhere without my babybjorn carrier. My partner absolutely loves it to, he always races to beat me to put it on and he wears our baby with pride.

I got this with my little boy when he became clingy due to no sleep from colic. I was able to have free hands and still do daily tasks while bub was happy. I live in a humid climate and this was breathable and great to use functionally. Would highly recommend

Have been using this with my 6 week old. Used it first when just 5 days old. The fit was great and she sleeps EVERY time she is in it. I can put it on easily on my own and i like that you dont need extra infant inserts.
