Britax Safe-n-Sound Unity ISOFIX Compatible Baby Capsule

In love with this car seat. Isofix points are easy to use and allow for added safety along with strap. Easy to move in and out of car and allows baby to remain a sleep.

This capsule is great. The product description is very accurate especially when it states it can be used till 12 months. My daughter is a large 8 month old and still has plenty of room left. It’s great as it can click into most prams with adapters. Only issue is it can become very heavy but now with an 9kg baby I just get it out of car and straight onto pram.

We've owned the unity since 2014, it's kept both my babes snuggley, safe and has been amazing bringing newborns home to having them exit around 12 months. Amazing capsule and worth every cent.

I love this capsule! i never used one with my first but now i wish i had of, my baby sit comfortably in this at 6.5 months old with plenty more room to grow. i love it as it one of the only capsule to cater of ages 0-12months. its very easy to use and convenient to take whereever you go with ease. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I finally bought a capsule for my second son I had a whole 8 years later 😂 I must admit. I love it! I Has some great features, it's quiet easy to use. The only thing I would pick at would be it is extremely heavy! A lot heavier then what I though. All in all. I do love! Would recommend it! ❤️

Loved this capsule for our newborn! He is now 11 months and still fits comfortably in it. It is a little bit on the heavy side but still very easy to get in and out of the car.

I brought this capsule a month before my daughter was born, she is now 13months and she still fits perfectly! Its easy as pie to install, its easy to clean, its safe and its comfortable. My daughter suffers from a rare lung condition, we wanted a seat that screamed safety because we travel alot to major hospitals- this seat has surpassed our expectations.

I'm totally sold on isofix now! I know it is the same safety as a seatbelt, but the ease in which I can move it between cars is amazing. This capsule we still use for my 5mo and she has so much room to go! I love that it is compatible as a click and go system with my prams. Comfy for baby, and easy to use!

My daughter was born just over two kilograms and this capsule was perfect for her. She was very happy in the car and would have lasted a long while had I not switched to another capsule that was more aesthetically pleasing. Only con or suggestion to manufacture would be that it's hard trying to get the tether on and off. Perhaps a fixed tether that unclips like some other capsule have. Or look into overseas tethering and bring that to meet Aus standards

First time mother and I would recommend this easy for taking bub out without waking him up and so safe I love it a my bub is 8 mths and still fits in 👍👍

We decided to get the unity for our last baby so that we didn't have to wake him to do school runs and other busy day activites. He loves it! We can easily attach it to our pram and do everything we need without waking him. Easy to use and very easy to fit into the car. Adjusting him in the harnesses was also super easy and he was early so it had all the padding and comfort for him. We will definitely be using for our next baby at the end of the year. The only problem was the weight got a bit much as he got older but still preferred to lift that than have a woken baby.

Love love love my Unity baby capsule ! A all round awesome capsule but sadly my baby boy has grown out of his and now needs a new carseat  ! 😚😍

We bought the unity for our second child after using a different capsule for our eldest. We choose Britax unity this time round as it was bigger then the other capsule we had used last time. I find the Unity to be the biggest on the market and it allows your child to be in it longer. Both my children were born longer then 57cms so we were after a capsule they could stay in longer. We also loved that if it was ever needed that the Unity was able to accommodate a premmie. We loved our Unity and it certainly served it's purpose for us.

I purchased the Isofix version of the Unity in January in preparation for my daughter who was born in Feb. The fabrics feel very high quality and the capsule itself has a very sturdy feel. This does make it quite heavy, even without a baby in it, so I can see that I may not pull it in and out of the car once my daughter gets towards the 12 month stage. The capsule is very easy to install, using either isofix or seatbelt method. I have found that in my car I needed to have the recline foot out all the way to get the appropriate recline for my newborn. It is easy to remove from the car by un hooking the tether strap, pulling the lever at the back and lifting the capsule out, however it is a lot tricker to put back in. Once you have clipped it to the base (which is simple), you then must reattach the tether strap. The little plastic holders the tether strap has to go through on the capsule are very small and difficult to access, I find myself having to bend down and look behind the capsule in order to slide it through, it is very hard to do it from feel alone. I also had a problem with the newborn head support insert not offering enough support for my newborn. It caused her head to flop to the sides in a very disturbing manner. Although side head flop is not dangerous (It’s head to chin you need to worry about as this can cause asphyxiation risks) it was not something I was happy with at all. I contacted Britax and they sent me a replacement insert which was a different style to the one which came with the capsule and this solved my problem. I think they need to revaluate the type of insert which comes with the capsule as I have seen online that many people have the same issue. I have included a picture with the original insert and the new insert so you can see the difference it made to my newborn. I probably wouldn’t buy this capsule again due to the issues with the insert, and the fact that it is so heavy and cumbersome to put back into the car. I would instead purchase the Unity Neo’s (Not the isofix version which is what this is) or look at a different brand. There are only a couple on the market which have A2 Height markers like the Unity does however so that would play a part in which capsule I would purchase. Also if you need a capsule for a premmie baby the Unity Isofix is the only one on the market with premmie slots, another thing to consider when purchasing.
