Pigeon’s original nipple design. Research conducted on baby’s oral development shows that baby suckles breastmilk by moving their tongue in a smooth, wave-like motion. This is called ‘Peristaltic motion’ and is the natural way a baby feeds. Pigeon teats have been designed to mimic and promote this natural sucking action. Pigeon teats will help reduce nipple confusion between breast and bottle. Pigeon Peristaltic Slim Neck Teats are suitable for slim necked bottles.

S size is for newborns to around 3 months+ and has a round hole at the teat tip.
M size for babies 4 months+ and has a round hole  the teat tip.
‘Y’ size teat is a variable flow, cross-cut teat which opens depending on how hard the baby sucks, so it can be used from birth ongoing.
L size for babies 5 months+ with a round hole at the teat tip.

The perfect teat!

We have been using these tests in our exclusively breast feed 6month old size he was 4weeks old. There has never been any nipple confusion - he can go between the breast and a bottle of expressed milk with no issues at all! A fantastic teat, comes in a range of hole sizes depending on age. As a GP I wouldon't recommend any other brand of teat to mothers

Great shape, poor quality

I bought the variable flow Y hole teats, and the Y hole ripped in one within 2 months of use, and about 2 months after that the base sealing ring of the other teat ripped off. Both teats received careful/normal treatment. My son loved them, and they were great for his transition from breast to bottle due to tongue-tie issues, but at the price you pay for these, I would expect them to last longer.

Best teat around!!

My BF baby really struggled with learning to take a bottle and these were recommended to me. The teat was nice and slow and the slim neck was great.

Finally a teat that works

After trying an array of teats which yielded no results, my Wife and I turned to these Pigeon Teats in the hope our Son would start bottle feeding better. To our amazement he instantly loved them. The nipple like plastic in combination with the longer nipple neck proved the difference and our Son was able to successfully feed. Thank you Pigeon.
