This GAIA Belly Butter is deeply moisturising and nourishing, as it contains pure cocoa butter and organic shea butter, both well known for replenishing skin’s vital moisture, maintaining suppleness and reducing the possibility and appearance of stretchmarks. It also has the most gorgeous and calming scent, from the essential oils used, including lavender, mandarin, tangerine and frankincense. It is just beautiful, but without being too strong or overpowering. And once completely absorbed, this scent does fade. I have mainly been using the Belly Butter on my tummy, and just a dollop is more than sufficient, as it is quite concentrated. Unlike most other body butters, after a quick massage into your skin, the Belly Butter absorbs with no greasiness or stickiness in sight. So no need to worry that it will make your clothes greasy or stained from the oil either. Best value for money product I’ve purchased to date!!

Nice to use but not sure if it prevented stretch marks

I really like the scent of this belly butter and using it made my skin feel really soft and supple, and well hydrated. It's not sticky and blends well. I'm not sure if it actually prevents stretch marks as I still had some marks post-baby, but it may have helped it from being worse.

I found this cream to have a lovely smell, and loved the richness of this cream - felt it did a good job at moisturising my belly, especially as the skin was stretching and was itchy. I also loved I wasn't slathering nasty ingredients all over my belly. However for me it didn't prevent stretch marks despite regular use, or reduce their appearance when they appeared.

I love this product. Not only does it smell nice, it is also easily absorbed by the skin and isn't too heavy which leaves a film of oil on your skin like other creams designed to reduce the possibility of stretch marks. It is easy to hold on to and dispense in its hand sized tube and you can easily pop it in your bag and apply whenever you need to when your belly itches. I needed to take it to work and apply it during lunch. I have minimal stretch marks thanks to a combination of this and Bio Oil so I would highly recommend this.
